Teen Chef Zachary Moskowitz Is Unstoppable in the Kitchen
Popular Instagram teen chef Zachary Moskowitz, best known as Chef Z, is undeniably one of the most promising young chefs in the industry today who is making a lot of noise as he stirs up the best and most mouthwatering pastries in his kitchen. Chef Z has proven time and time again that making magical creations in the kitchen is not dependent on one’s age but rather on a person’s creativity, determination, and passion for cooking. At his young age, Chef Z has shown the world how unstoppable he is in the kitchen when he sets his mind on creating something sumptuous and satisfying for his loved ones and clients.
The owner of Chef Z’s Cafe, Chef Z now runs his own online business that features his most delicious creations, from s’mores brownies to galettes, custom cakes, cookies, cupcakes, macarons, muffins, tarts, souffles, rolls, and pies, among others. All his desserts are priced reasonably and are designed to make clients crave more. His website alone is such eye candy as the photos truly capture the essence of his desserts. Three of his most popular homemade desserts include the Z’s Cinnamon Rolls, Z’s S’mores Brownies, and Apple Tarte Tatin.
“I have always liked to cook and bake,” Zachary explains. “From a very young age, I would always like to be in the kitchen. Neither of my parents are huge cooks/bakers, but they occasionally made your typical chocolate chip cookers. I was inspired by Chef Meika Johnson, who I met in a cooking class. She was the instructor. She taught me that in the kitchen, you should let your creativity run wild,” he adds.
Chef Z takes pride in admitting that he is a thriving one-man show. He has a gift when it comes to multitasking, and it shows in his day-to-day routine, which involves creating desserts in the kitchen, designing his own website, managing his own social media accounts, and taking all the orders. At the height of the pandemic, Chef Z was able to successfully master the dynamics of his daily routine without compromising his time for family, school, and rest. He is also very proud to say that everything he does is independent of his parents, unlike many teen chefs he knows whose online presence is run by their parents.
His more than 100k followers on Instagram alone is concrete proof that people love his candidness and sweet nature. His followers can see clearly how passionate he is about baking. They continue to be amazed by his command whenever creating something in the kitchen and how he seems to be enjoying every second of it.
Chef Z has big plans for his cooking career in the next five years. He envisions himself expanding his business and bringing his desserts all the way to New York, LA, or Dallas.
