In a celebration of creativity and community, Ars Media Arts Group (Ars MAG) brought the magic of art to the forefront during NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis. Held on Saturday, February 17th, at the historic Stutz building, the event transformed the old car factory into a vibrant hub of artistic expression and inspiration.

Ars MAG, known for its commitment to empowering artists and nurturing talent, curated an eclectic art market featuring a diverse array of vendors. From wellness products to vintage thrift, popcorn to hand-made jewelry, the market showcased the richness and diversity of the creative landscape.

But the highlight of the event was undoubtedly the “Open GEM” conversation between two unlikely creatives: Terrance Woolford, also known as Eazy, and Will Stomp of [D]rugs Art Gallery. Eazy, an upcycle artist renowned for his use of recycled materials, shared insights into his creative process and how NBA culture influences his work. On the other hand, Will Stomp, known for his unique tufting technique, delved into his upbringing in a creative household and the importance of community in fostering artistic growth.

The conversation between Eazy and Will, dubbed “Open GEM” by Ars MAG, offered a glimpse into the minds of two artists from different backgrounds, united by their passion for creativity and expression. Their dialogue resonated deeply with the audience, sparking meaningful discussions and inspiring attendees to explore their own creative journeys.

Ars Media Arts Group’s presence at NBA All-Star Weekend not only showcased the talent and creativity thriving in Indianapolis but also underscored the agency’s mission to bridge gaps within the creative community. By providing a platform for local artists to shine and bringing additional talent to the city, Ars MAG continues to foster connections and collaboration within the creative landscape.
